The Mar armchair has straight and angular lines, creating a geometric contrast with the modern style that was introduced in Brazil in the 1950s and 1960s. Designer Regis Padilha selected jequitibá wood for its mechanical properties and the clean, homogeneous look it provides. The finish is colorless matte and polished only with natural oils. The ergonomic angle of the seat and backrest aligned with the curves make it highly comfortable for any living space. Jequitibá wood is native to South and Central America, including Brazil, Venezuela and Colombia, and is very durable and has excellent resistance.
