About the author:
Born in São Paulo, photographer, visual artist, and landscaper, has been living in Lisbon for 5 years. She fell in love with cork oaks, native trees that are very important in Portugal. For a year, she made numerous trips to the Alentejo region, specifically Estremoz and Vila Viçosa, to photograph these magnificent trees. Nine of the many images captured during those trips were edited and featured in the CÓRTEX Exhibition at the Museum of Science and Natural History (MUHNAC) in Lisbon. These photographs were displayed in that Exhibition.
