About the author
Born in São Paulo, photographer, visual artist and landscaper, she has lived in Lisbon for 5 years. She fell in love with cork oaks, a native tree that is very important in Portugal. Over the course of a year, she made numerous trips to Alentejo, the region of Estremoz and Vila Viçosa, to photograph these magnificent trees. Of the many images taken on those trips, nine were edited and included in the CÓRTEX Exhibition, at the Museum of Science and Natural History (MUHNAC), in Lisbon. These photographs were exhibited at that Exhibition.
