Intense and profound, the colors and form of expression of the abstract works Grito#1 and Scream#2. They are large-format canvases that complement an environment and give it a special and unique charisma.

About the author:
Graphic designer and resident of Almada, Paulo attended the Advanced Visual Arts Course at AR.CO. – Center for Art and Visual Communication and attended several workshops related to various areas of the visual arts.
He worked for one year in an Artistic Residency at the studio of the sculptor António Júlio and, later, as Assistant Curator in a gallery in Lisbon.

His practice focuses mainly on painting and installations. Drawing and sculpture with aluminum – the preferred material for working in three dimensions – are also part of his work. Building objects using their hands, tools and primary materials are an intrinsic part of their work.
In addition to the absolutely decisive contribution of AR.CO – Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual, the exhibition “All-Around” (Loures, 2015) is a positive turn in the way it has influenced and structured its creative process and the execution of projects that followed.
